Emanuel Bakla (August 11, 1878 in Prague - March 17, 1943 in Prague) - painter
 
He studied under Professor Max Pirner and Vaclav Brozik at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. He worked in Prague. He devoted himself to landscape painting and especially to views of the beauty of Baroque Prague and its corners. In particular, he painted large canvases with views of Charles Bridge and other Prague landmarks.
