Nikolai Chvorinov ( November 15, 1903 Omsk, Russia - November 7, 1987 Kladno )

Ing., Researcher in the field of metallurgy, painter. From 1919 to 1921 he studied at Trent College Nottingham Public School. After a short stay in Denmark, he came to Czechoslovakia in 1922. From 1923 to 1929 he studied metallurgical engineering at the University of Mining in Pribram. He studied painting privately in Pilsen. From 1930 to 1951 he worked at Skoda's plants (with the exception of 1945 - 48, when he devoted himself only to artistic activities ) . From 1951 he worked in the steelworks SONP Kladno. He has been exhibiting independently since 1947. His work is represented in the collections of the National Gallery in Prague.
