Max Duchek (5.6. 1881 in Smíchov) painter

Especially in the field of fresco painting. Duchek was a pupil of Pirner and Professor Delug and Pochvalsky of Vienna. He made final repairs of frescoes in Ungelt in Prague. Some works: "Salome", "Christ on the Mares", "Czech Madonna". Preserved uncovered figural paintings in the church of St. Adalbert in Prague II. and restored endangered frescoes of V. V. Reiner in the church of st. Jana Nepomucky in Prague IV. (1930). In 1931 he repaired the discovered murals in the church in St. Petersburg. Svojanov near Policka.
