Josef Hapka ( March 12, 1912 Podoli near Valasske Mezirici - July 3, 1987 )

studied privately with the painter Fr. Hoplicek in Olomouc. From 1938 to 1946 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague under Professor Jakub Obrovsky. He devoted himself to figural painting and portraits. He exhibited in Zlin, Olomouc, Kromeriz and Prague.
