Petr Jaros (29. 6. 1859 Prague - 26. 8. 1929 Prague) painter, scenographer, puppets and decorations

He studied in Prague (Hugo Ullik), Vienna (Jan Kautsky), Munich, Dresden. He devoted himself to landscape painting, especially around Chodsko. He painted decorations for the National Theater in Brno, Janack Theater in Brno, where he also worked. At the Pistek Theater in Prague he created decorations and worked here under the leadership of Budil, Svanda and Hübner. He cooperated with the puppet department of the Masaryk People's Institute in Prague.
