study: School of Applied Arts in Prague 1925 - 1931 prof. Frantisek Kysela, prof. Jaroslav Benda. From 1939 to 1948 he led the Officina Pragensis graphic school in Prague ( founded by Hugo Steiner-Prag, in his absence during the Second World War ) .
