Adolf Jelínek Alex ( 1890 in Strmilov - 2. 9. 1957 in Prague )

painter, graphic artist and writer in Prague. The disciple of the School of Applied Arts in Prague, Academy of Fine Arts in Munich under prof. Janek and Academy of Fine Arts in Prague under prof. Svabinsky. He went on a study trip to Italy. He devoted himself to painting, drawing, free graphics (mostly etching and aquatint), exlibris, book creation and illustration. He is a figuralist and landscape painter.
