Franz Josef Kraus (June 14, 1904 in Hodolany u Olomouce - 1 November 1976 in Olomouc) painter, graphic artist and teacher
 
Painter, graphic designer and drawing professor in Kroměříž. He studied at Professor Oldřich Blažíček at the Czech Technical University in Prague and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague under Professor Tavik František Šimon from 1932 to 1934. He then privately educated in Paris, Brussels and Munich. Study trips took place across Europe and North Africa. He painted landscapes, architectures and temple interiors.
