Jaroslav Maly ( 1. 11 Prague -? ) painter, graphic artist, illustrator, legionary


He studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague ( 1900 - 1906 ) . He devoted himself to portraiture, illustrations of fairy tales, and dealt with applied graphics ( poster and stamp creation ). He worked for architecture ( mosaics, sgraffito ) , designed temple windows. During the First World War he served in Czechoslovakia. legions, illustrated by the legionary humorous magazine Swings. Represented in the collections of the Museum of Applied Arts in Brno.
