Alois Moravec ( 5 January 1899 - 6 March 1987 ) painter and graphic artist

He studied at the School of Applied Arts in Prague 1913 - 1916 with prof. Dite, Hofbauer, Kysela and Max Svabinsky's graphic specialties at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague 1916 - 1920. He taught in Prague and Pilsen 1923 - 1941. He was a member of Umelecka Beseda 1917 - 1936, - 1950, West Bohemian artists 1923 - 1935. The landscape and people of South Bohemia were a permanent inspiration. From the collections of the National Gallery. Member of the Association of Fine Artists Manes.
