Josef Nastoupil (Carlo Naston) - ( 7. 1. 1888 Liberec - 3. 10. 1959 Liberec)  painter, graphic artist, scenography artist

He studied drawing at the Liberec Art School prof. Schafner, privately with prof. Gerhart at the Academy in Brussels, and at the Julien Academy in Paris. He traveled in Holland and England. In Paris, he met Frantsšek Kupka and learned the basics of graphic techniques. After returning to Bohemia, he set up his own graphic workshop. He has participated in many exhibitions, exhibited for a long time in Los Angeles, California. Represented by his works in domestic and foreign collections.
