Karel Nejedly (8. 7. 1873 Prague - 29. 11. 1927 Prague) painter, illustrator, graphic artist, the disciple of Julius Marak
He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague from 1888 to 1894 (prof. Marak and after his death, prof. Sequens). He was a high school drawing teacher. He painted together with the painter Antonin Slavicek in Kamenicky (1904). He focused on portraiture, landscape and genre scenes. Illustrated books, created many postcards. He sought motifs for his landscape works in Moravian Slovakia, Sumava, Slovakia. He was a member of the Manes Association of Fine Arts. He had a posthumous exhibition in 1927 in Prague - Krasoumna Jednota.
