Josef (Joza) Novak (February 18, 1883 Rychnov nad Kneznou - September 16, 1958 Prague) sculptor and painter


He studied at the School of Applied Arts in Prague from 1901 to 1907. From 1907 he studied privately in Paris, then worked for the sculptor prof. Albert Lauermann in Detmold, Germany. He exhibited with the Union of Fine Artists and Umelecka Beseda in Prague. His works are represented in the collections of the National Gallery.
