Václav Rabas (13 November 1885 - 26 October 1954) - painter
He studied at professors B. Roubalik, V. Bukovac, H. Schwaiger and M. Svabinsky at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (1906-1913). In the 1920s he reflected the social tendencies in Czech art. He drew the topic in his native land, but also in Žatecko, Slánsko and in the landscape below Džbán. During World War II, he was heading towards an intimate lyrical expression. Member and co-founder of The Hollar Association of Czech Graphic Artists.
