Franz Schrotzberg (* 2nd of April 1811 in Vienna, and he died on 29th of May 1889 in Graz)

He was an Austrian painter. He studied at the Vienna Academy. Already during his studies he was awarded three times and also received a scholarship. In 1842, for the first time, he portrayed and depicted mythical scenes in St. Anna church. He made oil paintings for the imperial family. From 1843 he was a member of the Vienna Academy.

The street in Vienna is named after Franz Schrotzberg. He died at the age of 78 years.
