Hand painted faience. Faience jug with tin-lead glaze and arched handle. Central motif of painted stylised flowers - red and blue with manganese painted petals. At the top and bottom a band of manganese lattice with alternating greenish targets. At the back stylized nines reminiscent of jug-making in Dechtice. Engraved signature from the below. Bumps and abrasions in places. Western Slovakia 1850 - 1890. Height 11,5 cm.
