Alesa Vaic (30. 12. 1920 Prague -?) Graphic artist and painter
Son of graphic artist Josef Vaic. He graduated from grammar school in Prague, later (since 1936) began to learn drawing and graphics in his father's studio. Further studies at the College of Arts were hampered by World War II, when the universities were closed. In 1946 he became a member of the Syndicate of Czech Artists. He devoted himself to drawing, monotyping, and other graphic techniques. He created portraits, Prague motifs. The lifelong theme of his work was love of nature, especially hunting and game, mostly created by dry point technique. Nature has attracted him since his youth. He drew motives especially in the Krkonose National Park, at hunting events. He has exhibited independently in Prague, Liberec, Ostrov nad Ohri, Sweden. Holder of numerous hunting awards.
