Julie Zemanova-Prochazkova ( 28. 3. 1909 in Hronov -? ) painter in Prague
She studied in a specialty of Professor Max Svabinsky at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague 1928 - 1935 and under prof. L. Simon at the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Paris from 1935 to 1936 as a scholarship holder for the French government. She painted portraits (especially children), figural compositions, still life with flowers or fruit. She liked the landscape painting of the Hronovsko mountains and the landscape of Brittany.
She participated in exhibitions of the Salon des Tuilleries in Paris, exhibited in Naples, at the Zlin salons, she had a comprehensive exhibition in the Beaufort Hall in Prague in 1939 and in the Ars Hall in 1943. She was a member of the Union of Fine Artists in Prague.
